So, not a lot happened today, Bangkok has temples, lots of them, lots of monks, traffic, tuk tuks, people wanting to know where you're going, ladyboys, more temples. I've seen lots of them, and today spent time with a couple of new friends thinking about what to do next.

Finally a desicion was made, me and another girl, Shelley, are going to Ko Tao together on a nightbus tomorrow night, that being the most practical way of getting there. Shelley is going to learn to dive, and one of the wonderful things about Ko Tao is that they offer packages that basically mean if you book a diving course, you get free accommodation, and in this case, for her at least, free transport from Bangkok. Her 4 day open water PADI course /4 night free accommodation cost just under 200, including the travel down there which cozt 13 on it's own. Incredible! So we will be going to the islands around Tao, Phangnan and Samui together, as travel buddies, before I get myself back to Kuala Lumpur to see my other buddies. These next 2 weeks have just improved greatly.

When I got back, I spent more time messaging people on varying spare room sites (I spent about 2 hours doing this this morning as well) as I'm really stressing about not having got a replacement lodger yet.) and got an email from a tv company making a programme for National Geographic about the scams in Saigon and asking me to take part. Well now that's exciting, and makes the whole horrible experience 'worthwhile'. I keep telling people afraid of travelling - don't let the bad times worry you, it's those which make for the good stories in future. How true!

I rounded off the day with watching the Hangover 2 all over again...Oh so familiar!
