. Barry then snapped, he turned around and told me to stop telling him what to do and then called us obnoxious Brits and stormed off. I couldn't believe it, I have never had anyone speak to me like that before I was being calm and agreeable and reasonable, and there to help this guy, and he just threw it all in my face with insults. How anyone over 50 could behave like such a rude and arrogant child, I don't know. I was thrown and little upset by this unnecessary conflict as it is something I try and avoid.
Me and Jim then spent the afternoon together and talked and had coffee and he convinced me that it wasn't my fault etc, which he's right but it still wasn't pleasant.
Today I slept until 11 before going out to the computer plaza with Barry the american and Jim the Scot, as Barry had asked for my help in choosing a new camera and maybe even a laptop (if you don't know me - I'm a software tester, and as such know a lot about computers and quite a lot about cameras too now due to my recent research saga)as his screen had broken. I had no reason to go other than to help Barry so we all went for him. We looked around, saw stuff, gave opinions etc, and then out of almost no-where Barry got cross with Jim and started telling him to "stop telling me what to do, stop it, I'm serious, I'll actually punch you if you don't stop", well that was awkward and a bit over the top, but we carried on and I saw a shop that repaired computers, I indicated this to him and we went over. Barry started to tell him that basically a drop of water had hit his computer and half of it had fogged up (never mind the fact that the joint had broken and the screen just hangs off) I couldn't work out whether the guy he was talking to didn't understand his accent or the problem, but Barry got very rude to him, then told him he knew nothing about computers and stormed off, I felt that was a little unfair as I don't think barry knew anything about computers which was why he asked me along, and I felt that the screen probably needed replacing - which is what the computer guy had said so I backed up what the guy had said
