So I am blogging a day late about the 13th of July due no internet access.

So what a difficult day today.  We got an hour down the road and ran into stopped traffic.  After awhile we got out and socialed with other stopped drivers.  The guy behind us was a truck driver and told us he heard on the radio that a truck had slide off the road down a soft shoulder and was only 1/10th of a mile ahead of us.  So always nice to chat up folks.
Then the rest of the trip we hit one lane construction and just moved at a slow pace.  It took 11 hrs to cover 500 miles.  We went from Syracuse NY to PA, to Ohio and then crossed the border into Indiana.  Just a very long day.
By the end of the day we decided we did not like Ohio in general.  We pushed ourselves to make sure we got the H#!! out of the state!.  We hit a ton of construction, Cleveland was packed, dirty, depressing and icky.  The people were hard looking and just shuffled around the rest areas, ugh!  To top it off after a horrific rain shower the sun came out and there was no rainbows!  No matter which direction you looked at there was no rainbow.
I will have to figure out a sacrifce to give to the traveling gods to give us a good day tommorrow.

The nice thing of day was seeng BP be boycotted.  We stopped for fuel outside of cleveland and at the Gas station we were at it was packed, lines at the pump, people trying to get home from work, etc. Across the street BP was empty with a big flashing open sign.  Nice job America!!
