London to Dublin

A boring travel day today, including the usual trial of lugging 2 large suitcases, 1 heavy laptop bag and 1 bulky backpack, from the hotel to the tube station, up and down stairs to and from underground platforms, and then all around the Heathrow airport. At least when we got to Dublin, we were able to put them all in the boot of the car.
I don't know how the Irish stay drunk all the time, because the price of booze here s extortionate. A bottle of cheap wine is over 20 euros and Bacardi is twice the price of England!!
We had dinner in the local pizza parlour, and then went for a walk down to the river Liffey, along with a large portion of the population, it seemed: people were thronging all over the place.
