End of China Study Tour
Entry 111 of 118 | show all | print this entry |
this is the EEEEENNNNDDDD
OMG it all happened soooo fast, seems like three days, but full of experience, hanging out, laughing, teasing Justin. It's great - I made some new friends - got to know people from Uni in a different light ... argh
well, I felt much better after a day of recovery - I was back on track - and went to the "hutongs" tour with riksaws - what a combination - :) I cycled around hutongs by myself 2 yrs ago and that WAS GREAT! :) anyway, the tour was nothing special - I haven't learned anything new - apart from the enormous effect tourism has on the development :) It was defi a nice "lazy days" activity! :)
We went to the Drum tower and to the forbidden city and me, Roberto and Jeremy had a photoshoot :) As we stepped out - and was still national holiday - the 2nd - there were like 10000000 people on the Tianemen Square - a great sight :) now imagine the olympics :) it's going to be absolutely insane! :) INSANE! :)
SO ... the best of the best always comes in the end so after shopping @ the Silk Market --> Taz took me and Roberto OUT - we DISCOVERED BEIJING :) Came home the next morning @ 7am and fell asleep in my room (Jane was dying from laughter when she saw us sleeping) it was the BEST NIGHT EVER! ;)
it's sad ... people are leaving... and I'm not really in a stage of writing atm ... The trip was good ... but it's hard to say now. ... I need some time ... to think ... to analyze ... to get over things ... it was like a test :)hahahahah I guess I will write more soon I can't - can't be pushed to do a masterpiece - I'm a writer ... explorer and a student of life :) good luck getting to know me :)
