got to london and found it much more interesting than i had first thought.  i decided to spend the night.  i checked in to the hostel and spent the day exploring all of the sites.  later that night, i saw a new movie, star wars the phantom menace.  i spent the next day exploring the rest of london's countless sites.
and then i took a bus-ferry-bus and ended up in cork.
