When we reached Maumere, Flores, Indonesia, we had travelled as far eastward from home as we were going to go. From that point on we were beginning the long road home. With the completion of the Elephant Conservation Center course came the completion of our long stint in Southeast Asia. Today we fly from Bangkok to Cairo to begin the Middle East/Africa, and final, leg of our adventure. For those who don't know, here is the plan:
June 11th- Fly to Cairo
-Egypt, Jordan, Israel-
July 24th- Fly to Nairobi
-Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa-
October 4th- Fly to New York
-Visit Abby and do a little touristing in our own country-
October 7-8th- GO HOME
