I am officially finished with going into the wild.  It was a long and arduous trip, but charlie, the jeep, and I are safe and sound.
After Chicago, I headed back on down to the Chattahoochee (10 hour drive) to pack up my things, see friends play at nightfall, go on sweet boat rides with friends and family, and try to go "skeep" shooting.  Boat RideBoat Ride
And I have to give a quick shout-out to Ramble Horse and there awesome show at nightfall. They sounded prettty good.

8 Hours later in the jeep again.....back to Florida.  Besides the torrential rain, (that caused massive sliding on the roads) it was great to be back in Florida.

Dad and Grandma at the 80th Birthday Dinner
I am in Tampa, FL - It's hot, but it's good to be back home.Nearly 10,000 miles later
I am so grateful for everything I have been able to experience on this trip, and it will be remembered as one of the greatest times of my life.  Again, thank you to everyone who made it possible and enjoyable.
One message I have taken to heart from the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer is that true happiness is sharing experiences with the people around you and the people you care about.
Take care everyone and stay in touch.

Thanks & Shout Outs
I want to thank everyone who was a part of this trip.  I am so fortunate to have so many friends and family members.

Tom, Merlynn Steven, Andrew, Carolynn, Wes, Grandma Lela & Grandpa Jere -
Being with everyone on the first stop of my trip and the last stop was special and a lot fun - dinners, golfing, beach cocktails, almost going fishing and turtle watching, grandma's 80th birthday with lots of seriously "old" school dancing  and just hanging out with everyone.  Thanks so much for everything, and I will see you soon.

Grandaddy Ted and Grandma Judy - Seeing y'all is always a joy when I am in Chattanooga.  Thank you for coming to my graduation and supporting me in everything I do.  I loved looking at your "into the wild" photo albums before my trip.  I semi-re-created a photo of you grandad when you are looking over a cliff with binoculars.  It is somewhere in the photos of Yosemite.  Love y'all and I will see you the next time I am in Chattanooga or you are in Daytona.
Molly, Griffin, and Mary Drew - I love having the best neighbors in the world while I am in Chattanooga, and I love raiding the fridge in the weee hours of the morning.  Your recipes are too delicious Molly.  Mary Drew: you are the cutest niece in the whole wide world, and I love reading about all your activities on mommys blog! Griffin: Can't wait to see you again with an ICE in hand.  Take care and come visit me soon!

Matt, Elyssa, Mr. & Mrs. Yantis - Matt and Elyssa: Ya ll are included in the "best neighbors" comment above as well.  Thanks for the good times and the good dinners (Elyssa).  I am going to try the manacotti recipe very soon.  Miss y'all and good luck with the rounds.  Catch an Allegiant Air flight down here ASAP.  Mr. and Mrs. Yantis: My second parental unit, thanks so much for always welcoming me and my family to the lake.  It is always a good time.   See y'all soon.

Dad & Lisa - This trip could not have been possible without yall's strategic geographical advice, social guidance  and financial support.  Thank you so much for everything. I will never forget our ; workouts in the gym, eating fresh vegetables from your garden, fireworks at riverbend, Sheryl crow/Allison krause at riverbend, and selling parking spots for Riverbend.  Love y'all.

Colleen, Chris, the Webster,  and Mack Daddy - Always love myself a ride through Memphis, ha ha.  Thanks for feeding Charlie and I and letting us watch True Blood and play with the nephews.  Also thanks for the jackets!  I would have frozen to death.  Who knew it would be soooo cold in the middle of summer.  Thanks and love y'all.
