So we've finally made it... after a small amount of panicking on Friday afternoon, we managed to get ourselves and our bags out of the flat, and meet up with Tom's family... They very kindly took us to Heathrow and saw us off...  We got out of London with no major hitches... and Tom managed to bag himself a really nice camera on the cheap - we've taken this bartering thing to start the moment we went through depatures! ;)

So we spent about 23 hours in aeroplanes and Brazilian departure lounges and finally made it to Lima...  So far so good... we just went out and got a bit of food and had a look around...  I just can't believe we've actually left, I don't think it's sunk in yet!! Me in Lima

I'm going to leave it there for now - nothing exciting just yet, but we're going to make our way over to another part of the city this evening...
