It was not easy to leave captivating Sidi Ifni, where nothing is everything and where every day holds so many extraordinary experiences. But in less than 10 days my flight back to LA is leaving from Casablanca and I have not visited Fes yet, so it was time to move on.
Several people told me about a huge Saharan festival in Tan-Tan, several hours south of Sidi Ifni, so I figured I can spend there a couple days before heading north.
At my hotel in Sidi Ifni I met a backpacker from New Zealand named Shane and we decided to head to Tan-Tan together. Turn out the festival starts tomorrow so when we reached the festival grounds very little was happening. I did get, however, some awesome photos of nomads on camels.
