Today we had an amazing day trip for only 350 Baht (just a little over $10) each. We took a boat trip (pickup from the hotel) on a "longtail boat" which is a wooden boat that seats up to 20 people. It took us to four amazing islands.

First stop was the Pranang Cave, a stunningly beautiful island with beautiful rock formations everywhere. The cave is home to a shrine hosting hundreds of statues of penises (yes,
penises) in all different sizes. The emerald waters at the beach where inviting so we went for a swim, only to find that tiny little insects (water fleas?) are everywhere in the water, waiting to bite you an teach you that nothing is perfect.

Next to the cave monkeys started coming down from the cliffs. A vendor was selling roasted corn seeds to feed the them, but I already had pistachios with me, so very quickly Sean and I became their favorite feeders. It was awesome to play with them. We also got to see some some monkey porn: the head monkey fucked one of the females, and then (for pure pleasure, I'm sure) fucked one of the males. Don't believe me? I got both in videos!!! LOL

From there we headed to Poda Island for a little snorkeling and sun bathing. The breathtaking views alone make this island a must, but then we had an unexpected treat: from the woods behind us a clan of monkeys came to steal our bags. We did not let them but they were very persistent. These ones were aggressive, not as timid as the ones is the previous island. We gave them the rest of the almonds and pistachios but they wanted more. I threw a towel on one of the small monkeys only to find out that was a really stupid thing to do, as immediately I was attacked by the larger monkeys. Thankfully they did not bite, but it was scary and funny nevertheless.

After that adventure we continued to have lunch at Chicken Island, named for the semi-chicken-head rock formation protruding at its edge. Yet another beautiful beach with turquoise waters, sun and stunning views. Then the boat took us a little deeper into the water for incredible snorkeling. I kind of forced Sean, who is afraid of the water, to jump in with me. Despite swallowing some water he really enjoyed the experience. I'm looking forward to scuba diving in one of the islands around here.

Our final destination was Tup Island, a lovely beach island with incredible views everywhere. Perfect for some Yoga and sunbathing.

We ended the trip around 5pm and returned to Krabi (pronounced "Krabee"), a lovely little town with wonderful night markets where we chose different foods from several vendors for our dinner. This is what we had:
- Unidentified and very spicy mushed something as well as bony fish
over rice (25 baht)
- 3 skewers: squid, sausage, and chicken liver (40 baht)
- Thai pancake with Nuttela (to satisfy Sean's sweet tooth) (25 baht)
- Delicious Tom Yum soup with very fresh shrimp (60 baht)
- Fried rice with mixed meats and seafood (30 baht)
- 2 huge beers (90 baht)
The total (270 baht) is about $8.

Tomorrow we are heading to another island (Koh Lanta) which is supposed to be amazing. I can't believe it is possible to top what we saw today, but you never know here. After all, this country is called "Amazing Thailand"
