It was just shy of a 100 Km ride on the coast line. The views were magnificent. The terrain changed from "European Green" to "Mediterranean brown" in the course of only 40 Km. The ride itself was not difficult and consisted of a few ascents but remained relatively leveled.
On the way I had a great egg and cheese sandwich in one of the road side "Canteens", served by a nice Greek-Australian lady ("left to Australia when I was 10, moved back when I was 35"). I reached Itea around 16:00, I decided to camp on the coast that night and found a relatively cheap camp ground. More thumbnails ...
