What a ride! four days of beautiful Tuscany rolling hills,
vineyards and medieval cities perched high above.
In Viterbo I met a hospitable student named Davide who was kind enough to invite me to stay with him for a night.
He even insisted on cooking a local dish for dinner - a real treat!
I then went out with his friends and we wondered around the old city. Ending the nocturnal tour with a freshly baked "cornette" around 2:00AM. As my knee starting to give in, I took two days off in the beautiful little town of Sienna.
then continued towards Florence through the Chianti region, giving my knee the final push towards a month long painful inflammation.
As I got to Florence I went to the best bike store around (Florence-by-Bike) - sure enough, the vendor fixed my klit settings and the pain has yet to return (I also added a few mm to my seat).
