Decided to not go directly from Foz de Iguazu to Buenos Aires. Took the bus in the evening towards Concordia, and crossed over there with 3 others I met. Thorsten, Pia and Simona. My spanish was extremely rusty compared to theirs, almost non-existent. But fun to give it a try. Had a good quarrel with the taxi driver, who tried to convince us that is was 60km into Concordia. We ended up paying 30 arg. pesos for each car, but should have been around 20 I believe.

But all in all, smooth over the border to Uruguay with a new taxi. For the price of pesos 27,50 per person. The others left for Montevideo, I decided to stay one night in Salto. Found a local bus and headed towards Termas. Hostal Canela is really nice, with a pool and big rooms with satelite TV. 270 Ur pesos per night with HI card.

Walked to Termas, had a needed massage. 01 Thermal baths and massage in Salto

Spent the evening watching HBO and going to a restaurant called El Rancho just next to the hostal. Next day I took the bus to Montevideo.

Salto is nice, but not that much happening. But one can not always go only to the obvious tourist spots. I is good to see places that not everybody else has seen as well. But being the only guest in the hostal can be a bit boring...
