this crazy trip: from
Stuttgart to Tbilissi on a
train...!
The last step of the travel, done by train. I can hardly believe I'm back. Everything here's in order. People look depressed. It's a cold winter day. The buildings are made out of glass and steel. They are colder than the icy air. The train ticket is so expensive, although I already bought a BahnCard (which I can only recommend to all of you travelers). There are not enough seats on the train. All of you know the feeling of coming home after such a travel. People seem shallow-minded, all taken-up by their daily, little, unimportant affairs. So it seems. "What are you all doing here?" I ask myself that question. "Why aren't you traveling the world and trying to become different?". I sense the stupidity in my reasoning. I'm disappointed to be back here, because I'm disappointed with myself.
Yet, there are many things to come. Only five hours ago I was with my beloved friends in another world. Distinctly different. People are talking on their mobiles. I understand what they are saying. There is somebody who works at the same company. Fortunately the company is big enough and we don't know each other. I feel utterly alone and isolated. I want to make a phone call. Who should I call? I call Christiane. She's happy to hear me and she cheers me up.

----------------------------------------------------- Soon I arrive in Stuttgart. Everything's the same here. Everything's cold and grey. People don't mind each other. I take the same subway as I always do. I want to buy another ticket to the Caucasus immediately.
