Got a late start. Couldn't get lockers for our bags and the train we wanted was sold out, so we just skipped the Vatican and headed to Venice.  After the insane traffic of Rome it was a relief to be in the middle of Venice where there are no cars.  Just pedestrian traffic and boats.  Strolled around and bought some olive oil.

Had a nice dinner and just relaxed.  Italy has rivaled France for quality of food.  We've really been splurging.

I think we're both ready for the trip to end, or at least our time together.  It's been trying at times and we're both getting on each other's nerves.
