I'm sitting here at LAX waiting to board my flight to Dublin via a connecting flight in Philadelphia where I'll meet up with my brother Andy. I'm very excited but also a little sad. After so much planning and research to cram as much excitement into the trip as possible, it's now time to start crossing days off the schedule. It'll be all over before I know it. This is going to be a crazy 5 weeks.

Brake malfunction had us on the LAX runway for 90 minutes. I'm definitely in danger of missing my connecting flight in Philly. I may have to meet up with AC in Dublin tomorrow. Not a good start to the trip.
