Today the drive continues. The scenery is beautiful. The colors are not as turned as we had hoped but it is beautiful nonetheless. Staying on Route One we went through Bath and saw Bath Iron Works where they were working on some warships. Awesome sight to see such big ships being built. We took 129 down to Christmas Cove and found a gem of a place to have lunch. It was just a small fishing town and we stopped at a Osier's Wharf which was just a little general store/gas station/ restraunt. Very small only about 4 tables. We had the most awesome lobster there on the cheap...6.99/lb we both had a lobster lunch with fries and pop for under 24 bucks! The girls that ran the place were very nice and told us that most of the beautiful homes there are only occupied in the summer months...which is pretty sad since this time of year seems so beautiful around here. We got back on Route One and continued on up the coast. We made stops in Rockland and Camden and at the suggestion of some ladies at one of the shops in Camden we stopped in Lincolnville for dinner at the Lobster Pound. Mussels were good but the rest of the dinner was not real memorable. We had reservations in Belfast and our hotel room has the most beautiful view of the water.
