Sunday is market day in Pisac, the alpaca capital of Pisac and the surrounding valley. It is 1 hour drive from Cusco.
I spent the day bargaining for things that I didn´t want and ending up buying because they were so cheap. e.g. I got an alpaca jumper for $10 which I won´t ever wear. The markets had one area with food, a few live chickens and black corn for the locals while the rest seemed to be for tourist. PS I also ate alpaca the other day and it was goooood.
