We got to Ecauador on Thursday at midnight and the hostel that we tried to book over the phone in Spanish wouldn´t let us in. We found a place eventually but had to pay $30.
The next day we both felt sick from altitude although its not that bad. We walked around the old town, found a new place and ate empadas which are weird pastry things. We didn´t really do much else. On Saturday we went to a park on a hill from which we could see the whole town. I don´´t have my camera with me now so pictures will come soon. After lunch we took a taxi to the bus station but got a bag stolen on the way. Yaz lost her 3 passports, 2 pairs of glasses, amex card, tickets, $100 etc. We spent the next 3 hours trying to find english speaking police officers.
Today we are buying all the stuff that was lost and tommorow we go to the embassies. Hopefully our trip gets back to normal soon. Otherwise having a great time!!! Bye, Josh More thumbnails ...
