So, back to my boss, after having a long conversation about my plans, he laid out an alternative option for me. He suggested that I shorten my trip and take a leave of absence. From my original plan of 6-9 months, I had to cut it down to 3 months but the obvious upside is I can keep my job
Actually, I'm thrilled the way it worked out and now I can just focus on how I'm going to spend my next 3 1/2 months. After working the last 5 yrs since graduating, I know how rare and extraordinary this opportunity is for me. I plan on capitalizing every bit of this journey to learn more about myself and venture out to the unknowns to gain invaluable experience. Through this website, I hope you can also come along on my expedition. If you know a place that you've been to or any tips on getting around, please don't hesitate to leave a comment here. I can't wait to get going and I truly feel blessed to be in this situation right now.
