Hola!! Wow- what a day today! Got to Volcan Arenal yesterday morning and am staying at a beautiful place at the base of the volcano. It has been nice but overcast so I have yet to see the top of the volcano but it is soooo beautiful here! Went to the hot springs last night which was super cool. They had about 10 pools all of a different temp and it was sooo nice to have hot water! Afterwards the final futbol championship for Costa Rica was on and everyone was just crazy!! It was equivalent to the Superbowl in the US. The guys were all freaking out and pounding their chests- literally. Mucho testosterone. Afterwards there were riots and all kinds of fights and the referees had to be escorted out by the SWAT team. Crazy. ok well my bus is waiting for me so I will write more later- caio.
