This morning started with a rain storm that lasted until about 9:00, and it remained cloudy and overcast with intermittent drizzle until about noon. Today was another wine tasting excursion, but today was to the Sonoma Valley. Our first stop was at the Arrowood Winery which was followed by a visit to the Deerfield Ranch Winery, at both wineries we sampled their wines, and purchased several bottles. We then went to a local restaurant, "Café Citti" that was recommended to us, and we are glad we took her advice; it was a small restaurant but the food was very good. After lunch we visited three more wineries, The Kenwood Vineyards, where we took their tasting test and purchased some more wine. Next we visited the Kunde Family Estate Winery, where we listened to a short talk on wine making and took a tour of the cave that was dug into the mountain and is used to store the barrels of wine. The last winery that we visited was the Sebastiani Winery where we did the wine tasting but didn't purchase anything. The drive today through the Sonoma valley was nice but it was not as picturesque as the drive yesterday through the Napa Valley.
