Where I stayed
After a short briefing about diving in caverns we went into the water where we went through fresh and salt water, which is called a halocline. If you go through this your sight becomes very blurry and it looks like a shower where you go through. Because Patrick was the last in line, and he was behind the Canadian guy who couldn't swim his sight was blurry all the time. My sight on the other hand was perfect so I could see the stalactites in cavern clear. And in the pictures you can see how beautiful the light beams in the cavern were.
After a lunch break we went back in the water for a 40 min dive through the next cavern
Back in town again and dropped off by Alex we were hungry again so first things first and we went eating. Then a short swim in the pool and were ready for beers on the beach (Yes live is a bitch in Mexico...). More eating and drinking came after that and Patrick turned me on big time!
Here are the facts given by Patrick because he's a bit autistic:
- Playa del Carmen to the diving spot a 30 min drive
- First dive, max 16 mtr and 35 dive time
- Second dive max 12 mtr and 40 min dive time
- Visibility +30 mtr
- What is Halocline
- Cavern is a "cave" with where you can surface within 60 seconds
