Where I stayed
The most jaw dropping show was Cirque de Soleil "O"! How do they change the stage from a pool to a dry stage within seconds, is beyond me! It was a spectacular show and Nik really enjoyed it!
Las Vegas is definitely an adult destination. After watching "The Hangover", I wondered how many stories were being created that night! There were a lot of people standing on the strip handing out cards for adult shows! These cards of half naked women were all of the sidewalk. Trying to explain the “adult” side of Vegas only brought out more questions.
We could have definitely skipped Vegas as Nik had higher expectations and I think was a little disappointed. The shows were expensive and the town is artificial and I realized by the time we got to Fiji what really makes Nik happy…..the beach and water!
When we got in to Las Vegas, we went to our hotel: the Monte Carlo. At 7:00pm we went to a Magic show. It was amazing how he did his tricks. I bought a magic trick, that I spent and a lot time practicing .
After the show, I went on the New York New York rollercoaster ride but I didn’t like it. Outside of the hotel, there were some very scary people dress’s up in Halloween costume and very scary make up.
The next night, we went to Cirque De Soilel “O” . It was jaw dropping to see how they changed the stage into water and then make it completely dry. It was a great show.
