I rent a mountain bike and I tried to take the same way that I took to with the horse 2 days ago: that was very very hard: all the way are full of stones and I had to carry my bike a third of the time to be able to progress!! I climb the highest mountain of the island Mounga Terevaka (500 m) then to another volcano and I came back to the town through the forest and then the road as I was completely dead. Then in the evening I climb again with my bike the volcano Rano Kau to go to the traditional village Orongo to see the sunset there: some people told me that the guard where leaving at 6 or 7PM but of course when I came at 7h45 PM there was still a guard and I had to pay the entrance of the village for 15 min of light... Anyway it was incredible as a rainbow arrive just on the top of the volcano. I came back in the night with my head torch this time with the road.

Nice to see.....
.... that you are getting ahead, already at Easter Island, probably now in Chile mainland, or already in the Andes. Will you also travel down to Patagonia? Rolf said it was the best place on earth!?
Regards, take care
