When I took the train I thought to be late but all the system was down and I had to wait almost one hour that they sort out all the different travelers.
But at the end it was worth for it: the train was a touristic train with big window and the scenery all along the way was terrific. There was even a wagon open in order to take pictures.
We were quite lucky with the weather all the way.
At one point I was outside and a strong smell of cauliflower came to my nose, at first I thought it was the strong lady near to me but then I understood that the wind was bringing sometimes the gas of the exhaust manifold of the train...
We arrive then in Greymouth were I went for the visit of a brewery. I was the last one to pay and just before me the machine broke and the guide told me that I could follow the visit without paying: fair enough!!! The brewery has a lot of different beer and the guide let us go behind the desk at the end to serve the beer on the tap: first time for me that I was behind the bar.
Then we went with all the people of the visit to a BBQ ''all you can eat'' for the equivalent of 3 Euro: I ate maybe 8 huge sausages and plenty of Pasta: I think they did not think about me before to say all you can eat...
