At 7 AM I took the bus direction MANDALAY. It was a local bus: I was the only foreigner and when they finished to fill the chair, they filled the hallway, and then, the roof ...
Even if we were a lot more than in the previous bus, and even if the road was quite bumpy: I slept half of the way. When I arrived at Mandalay, it was just the sunset time: I asked a trishaw to drive me to Mandalay hill to get a panoramic view of the town .
As I was very just with the timing and I had to run to climb all the steps ( maybe 150 m high) a good training, and finally I was rewarded at the top with the sunset.
When I came back to the hotel, I met a group of 3 people and we decided to see the show of the Moustache brothers Initially there were " 3 moustache brothers, but due to the political content of their show and the open mind of the government of this country, one of them went 3 times in jail and his last one was September 2007: when I saw the show, he was still in jail.
The group is black listed by the government and we can understand why: the content of their show is an open critic of the government corruption and describe accurately and on a very funny way the current situation in BURMA ;
The show is cut with traditional dancing with traditional outfit: which gave a lighter content.
