Arrival in Yuanyang in the night
First arrive around 4 AM the driver and everybody were staying in the bus so do I
After 2 hours staying in the bus half sleeping and with no clue from where I was, I ask to the driver where was one hotel of that I picked up before the departure: he answer Rwhshne and pointing outside. I concluded that I was arrived but as there was a very dense fog, I could not see more than 5 m distance. I took my backpack and I went outside, I met an old french man who was waiting for an hypothetic bus to go in an unknown direction but who told me that I was arrived in the good town: good for me.
I found an hotel but as the fog was so dense and as it was 6 AM I took some rest.
And around 10 AM the fog leave the way to some sunrise: time to explore the city.
Hopefully for I, the situation became better and better during the day.
It's funny how a town can look depressive and sad when there is no light, a dense fog and that you are tired after 10 hours in a bus.
When the sun arrived, I made a little hike to try to dfind some rice cultures, I arrived in a very little town which was living as 100 years ago with locals in traditional outfit. I finally found the rice cultures but also a way completely muddy with the passage of the yaks: my flip flop did not go very well, so I finished bear foot trying to make an extra care in case of snake and cutting leaves.
Then I came back to explore the town and the local market, one more time I had the feeling to be the only foreigner of the city: quite nice.
I found a local resto where I ate in company of a charming table mate who was yelling at me nicely to tell me to taste all the plates of the table.
After this good lunch I came back to my hostel and I hared a big explosion coming from a truck, one second latter the engine fell down from the truck.... Well well.
In my hostel then, I found a way to go on the roof with an incredible view of the rice culture and the town. At one point the grandfather of the hostel came (to try) to speak to me.
I stayed there till the end of the afternoon and I was rewarded with a dramatic sunset.
