After a good last night in Chengdu, we woke up at 5AM with Craig, a friend from New Zealand and we went not so fresh to pick up our bus to Songpan. Few minutes after the start of the engine we both fall asleep as stone. We just woke up to see the mountain around with a foggy light.

Few hours of drive into terrific mountains which were looking like our Alpes and we arrive in my first small city since the beginning of my trip in China: the people there are on the Tibetan tradition in the way of living and dressing.
There are plenty of yaks and horses everywhere.

At our arrival, we bumped in Sarah, a British girl who was in my hostel in Chengdu.
As I stay, more than 4 weeks in a youth hostel, I m met quite a lot of travelers: we ll see if I continue to met some of them during my trip.
She gave us a tour of the city and bring us in a tea house near the river where the you can drink tea all the afternoon and eating pipas for 5 Yuans.
At the end of the day, we started a tournament of cards which ended up sometime during the night: a good preparation for our trek the next morning!!!
