After some visit of the Sami museum and some places in Karasjok, I went to met Heidi who was my driver to Kirkenes.
The good point for me is that she was working at the Sami parliament and that she did a personal visit for me of the parliament.
Sami representant meet 4 times a year in this parliament to see how together and with approval of the Norwegian government they can enforce and keep alive their culture.
It was not always as nice, the sami culture was almost killed during WW2, and then the Norwegian in an idea of unification of all the Norwegian tried to quench this culture. Hopefully for the Sami people, the government changed latter is mind and recognize this community and gave them the opportunity to express them self through this parliament
The Sami is a community who was living of hunting, fishing and of the breeding of reindeers, they used to live with their own language, traditions and folk.

By now, it's funny to see the evolution of their culture, they keep the traditions even if their in the modern age already. just near the Sami museum, some young sami 12 years sold where playing in the snow and making a fire in the snow as we switch on the light.

We took then the road in the middle of the forest and the frozen lacs to go to Kirkenes, stopping some times to see the reindeers on the side of the road
The shortest way was going through Finland, so it's why I put the map pin in Finland
