11 days of absolute luxury... a top end hotel... spa treatment every day... outstanding food.... far too much champagne and wine... sailing... tennis... golf.... and total relaxation.... we weren't even allowed to pour our own drinks without several waiters running over and taking the bottle from us!

It was delightfully decadent, and very different from our usual backpacking/camping adventures (on this holiday we didn't even leave the hotel, except to be chauffeur driven to the golf course next door).

Still, as lovely as it was, I'm not sure either of us could every really get use to this style of holiday... its just not the same when you aren't moving on, meeting new people every day, seeing new things and challenging yourself to survive in the wilderness, cross a mountain range, or navigate a heaving mega-city.
