After our 7,000 mile round-trip journey to England and back we spent a few more days relaxing in the Argentinian capital. We visited the suburb of La Boca (home to Boca Juniors who Maradona once played for) where the houses are painted in bright primary colours and there was a good local handicrafts market. Paul went to a Copa Libertadores football game between Banfield and River Plate - two teams from Buenos Aires. The game was a sellout, the atmosphere electric and there was no love lost between the fans.. Luckily the game finished even at 1-1 and so the hordes of riot police managed to keep the peace afterwards!! We then collected our Round-The World tickets which start in August and which will take us from Santiago (Chile) through Easter Island, Tahiti, NZ, Australia, Indonesia, Phillipines, Vietnam, Hong Kong (Dave & Janine - keep saving!), China, India and eventually back home.. before that though we are heading to the ski slopes with our snowboards !!!!
