Hello again,

Forgot to mention that in Vegas we saw Limahl (I know!)though we were too shy to shy to say hello, though Paul did say hello to Boris Johnson in Ceasars, he looked just like on the telly - dazed & confused.

We have been total tourists whilst in La, visiting all the obvious places. We have seen the Hollywood walk of fame with all the stars on the pavement (not many British names though), we have had the obligatory photo taken with our hands in a celebs handprints and visited the Chinese Theatre, however, the best was going on a Starline celebrity homes tour. We saw A list celebs houses such as P Diddy, Tom Cruise and John Lennon, we drove along Rodeo Drive and saw lots of designer shops including a huge Jimmy Choo shop (do you see a pattern emerging?),also saw lots of celeb hang outs like the Sky Bar and the Viper rooms, and not forgetting famous places where celebs have been arrested. It was a very exciting, if a little sad, way to see the city.

On Saturday 31st went to Venice Beach or as we now call it Camden by the sea. It was full of old hippies, market stalls and weirdos who'd obviously spent too long in the sun. Went to muscle beach which was hilarious. Scared to take photos/film at first but soon realised that these fellas loved the attention - skin tight lycra a-hoy. Plenty of surfer dudes, in-line skaters and mad mid-day joggers. VB is the tattoo capital of the world every 20 yards there was a parlour (Kerry wouldn't let me have one).

Paul took the plunge and had his hair cut, asked for no.1 - should have had a no.3 as no.1's are v. short - now looks like a cross between Rab C Nesbitt and Irvine Welsh ,never a good look.

To get to VB we decided(ie Paul, Kerry wanted a taxi)to do the travellery thing and got the bus. As it turned out the wrong bus, anyway after wandering around on foot for ages (the only people for miles to do so by the way) we got the right bus and 2 hours after setting off we'd done the 10 mile journey. Got a taxi back funnily enough.

That's all for now, be in touch from NZ

PS pizzas here superb!
