Had trouble with the connection this morning so will try to upload a few more pictures before going to bed. Wish me luck!
It's Christmas Day here today, we took it easy this morning and had a sleep in plus I've was able to find a connection that I can jump on for our internet so spent some time sorting pics etc.
Got going after lunch and headed down to Newport Beach. Nicole and Josh both love the OC (TV program) so went around a few sights there. They did recognise a few places from the series. It's a beautiful area and no doubt a popular place for holiday goers. Long, long beaches that head in either direction forever. Was just getting dark when we left there and we thought we'd head up to Long Beach. Was really too dark to do anything but we did see Queen Mary. Not a good time to go as was Christmas but if we have time we may head back down that way for a better look. At least we can say we've seen the Queen Mary though. Also saw the russian submarine that is docked next to it and a torpedo which Josh thought was cool.
Oh, the Lipton tea bags here are funny, makes my cups of tea look more like a cappucino!
We also had our traditional Christmas dinner tonight with turkey, vegetables and potatoes. OK, they were turkey patties (nice though), vegetables that were cooked in their bag in the microwave and potatoe nuggety things, but at least it was similar to what a traditional dinner would be like! Watched a movie and had no idea what it was. I named it DeJavu and at the end the title came up and I was right!
Going to check my sisters blog now, been a while since I have.
Take care all and hopefully this internet connection will enable us to keep in touch.
Planning to head out to San Diego Zoo tomorrow, Alisha will be disappointed though as I don't think Rainbow Brite will be there!

Brings back memories alright!
Hi Guys,

We just got your postcard and it reminded me to check your blog. Love your shot at the Little White Chapel. How cool that you stumbled across it. We also checked out the Wee Kirk in the Heather but I think it was even grungier than the Little White Chapel from my recollection and may have smelt a bit! Haha those chapels can be pretty unkempt from my recollection but it all adds to the uniqueness!!

It was the most wonderful time for us..staying at the Paris Casino was truly magical. The only down side was my feet again..I seemed to have pained feet constantly when I travel with Andrew. But I would insist in tottering around in inappropriate footwear not wanting to look like a tourist. I have learnt since then. How have your feet been holding up!?

Loving the blog...enjoy every minute...reality awaits!!

Happy New Year...much love,

Trish and Andrew xx
