related medical conditions. I bet there is a lot more death in vegas."
...and I'd have to agree about Vegas. How do people live here and survive? Vegas is one big playland for adults. The whole city lets you know pretty quick that you can do whatever the hell you want while you're here. For me, its just enough to be able to walk down the street and in and out of casinos with drink in hand without anyone yelling at me. As Tracey and Nick know I'm famous for getting in trouble for accidently bringing my drink outside of bars--here it is not only allowed but encouraged
Last night when we got in we just meandered up and down the strip. Nick kept trying to make a plan "Lets hit Ceaser's Palace and then work our way over to the Bellagio" and I kept telling him "why don't we just let Vegas guide us". He complied and the city complied and we were pulled in and out of casino after sinful casino as if by force. After a few hours of this (and 2 gin and tonics, a margarita, a bellini and a beer...which doesn't include Nick's drinks) I totally crashed. I started out the night ready to roll and by the end could barely drag my ass back to our hotel room without napping along the way. We agreed to sleep in (for the first time since our vacation started) and vowed to have a crazy night tonight. We'll let you know how that goes.
When we got up today we gorged ourselves at the Mgm Grand champagne brunch buffet. I ate so much that watching Nick shovel in his last piece of french toast almost made me hurl onto my two empty plates. That was hours ago and neither of us can even think about food yet. We were, however, able to continue to drink. After the mimosas at brunch we worked our way to pina coladas and beers at the hotel's lazy river pool. We spent a good couple hours floating around in 1000ft long circles...drinks in hand. (Again, you can do anything here.)
After the pool we walked back inside and sat down to play slots for a bit while I thoroughly enjoyed a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato. There is good coffee in Las Vegas.
Time to shower and get prepared for whatever Vegas has in store for us tonight. I'll let you know how it goes. --Celeste
