Our last day with our guide Dhanu who has been fantastic. He has been with us throughout Sri Lanka and it was a shame to say good bye. We drove from the tea plantation to the coast for our final destination Koggala, Galle.
We have never seen a highway so quiet and this road is great for heading to the coast. It took us around 6hrs but lots of stunning waterfalls and tea fields before the highway then a gorgeous coastal road for the final part.
The resort is stunning and in a great location.
We drove to Mirissa harbour for a boat tour to see Blue whales and dolphins. This is a great time of year for sightings and we were lucky enough to see about 5 blue whales and lots of dolphins.
Absolutely amazing to see so close to the boat.
Sri Lanka has been a superb experience, the country has lots to offer from beach, culture and safari. The people are lovely and the food also. A very memorable place and we will definitely return.
