This is better.

Ah! After a rough time in the disgusting hotel in Resistencia I choose to forfeited a night`s cost and caught the night coach to Salta, the city at the foot of the Andes. I explained my complaint to the owner of the Residencia Bariloche, who was disgusted at the sight of the underwear, but offered no return of my unused second nights payment, or even an apology! I suggest that any traveler bewares of this one who requests payment in advance but will not consider a refund for the unused nights. I will put that down to my lack of being able to express myself strongly enough in Spanish although I feel this lady is hard enough to face out any situation. Best the problem is forgotten now and put down to experience.
THE GOOD NEWS is that Salta appears to be one of those special places that you come to for a day or two but holds you with it´s charm and history. It is the doorway to the Andes and I feel at this stage that it is probably one of the best cities in the Argentine. I will blog about it after a couple of days when I have found city´s faults as well as it´s good points. For the first couple of nights I have chosen the Hostal El Alcazar, from " www.Bootsnall "sight. When I arrived at 7 am, rather worn after 12 hours on the coach, the first thing they did was to give me breakfast, that´s what I call a good start to any relationship. My room is large, airy, has a fan and TV as well as a good size en suite. The important thing today for me was that it was clean, I can`t fault it but I will give it 48 hours to see if my initial views change.
Watch this space for further news! Peter T.
