Florence - Last Morning Update

After we got pretty much settled in for the night, there was an awful storm. The wind was so strong it was setting off car alarms and blew open our latched window twice, and the rain was pelting the windows. We spent our time constructively, by mocking American magazines we'd borrowed from reception and playing with the cell phones. I programmed mine to do three different classical ditties which I will never use.
This morning it's not been very nice, either, so I'm taking advantage of the cheaper "happy hours" at the internet point to get as much done as possible. Have uploaded almost all of the pictures, though I don't think the Roman Forums are going up today. I have no idea what all the buildings were that we took pictures of, so I can't label them until I have time to concentrate just on googling that.
Am getting covered in ant bites in Florence. The first day, when I woke up pretty sick, I briefly ran through all of the diseases one could have that included red spots. Have evidently been watching too much House. I had about gotten to measles when I noticed an ant under the sheets when I was making the bed, which seems much more likely. But they're biting my face! I have a bite on my eyelid! Measles was not entirely unreasonable. Not as unreasonable as smallpox, at any rate. We're staying in Florence another night and switching rooms, so maybe I'll have better luck there.
Another random weird fact about Italy: The water has so many minerals included that it is a diuretic. Doesn't that just seem odd? And a little counterintuitive?
At any rate, pictures for everywhere except the Forums should be up in about fifteen minutes, give or take. Ciao!
