It's been quite a while since my last post, primarily due to the fact that classes started this week and the fact that I have been trying to edit as much of the book that I'm writing as I can before the schoolwork really gets heavy. But, here's a rundown of the last couple of weeks:

Lucas had a birthday! We threw a party. See picture.

I have become very involved with the church in Belgrano of Presbiterio San Andrés, which used to be officially connected with the EPC in the States. I LOVE these guys - they have totally taken me under their wing as a seminary student and ministry candidate. Feels good to be around family again. Will be attending the presbytery meeting this weekend, and I can't wait!!! The pictures of the church in Belgrano are the pictures on this page. (It was a Scottish Presbyterian church back in the day - check out the English writing on the baptismal font and walls! Only place I've seen that much English in one place since I got to B.A.!)

The church in Belgrano has also started an English-speaking small group that's going through the Reason for God DVD by Tim Keller. That group is fantastic, and I'm starting to feel quite at home here.

Lucas also went back to Germany. We were sad, but it was nice to meet him.

Also, about 7 other exchange students arrived here this week (from Germany, along with one from the US), and they've only been here for a few days. In a way, I've become an unofficial interpreter for a lot of them (all of the Germans speak English), which is kind of cool : ) I'm enjoying getting to know them and am glad to know that I'm not the only person with language difficulties in my classes.

Have to run because my battery's about to die. Ciao for now!
