A beautiful sunny morning on the side of the lake and I took a walk along the beach at around 7am. The sand at this campsite beach was the nicest so far and the campsite has a really nice aspect with all the vans and camping places scattered thoughout the tall pine trees. I tracked down one of those woodpeckers that we had heard the previous night and observed him (or her) high up in the branches pecking away. I mean he was really going for it, chipping away at the bark digging for sap or whatever it is they like to munch on.

The drive to Stockholm was about 3 hours and provided no real highlights other than finally being asked for ID when I bought petrol and wanted to sign for it (cos I can't remember my PIN).

A couple of missed turns later and we found the Sheraton( lizzie got a great deal on lastminute.com for a "top secret hotel)  . 5 Stars is nice after camping and we still had a good chance to walk around the city centre. It wasn't too late and loads of peeps were still wandering on Sunday night. We had some Sushi for dinner and Jas was a bit crook. The nice waitress gave Jas some ice cold cucumber as being a mother she obviously recognised a teething baby.

Funny staying in a nice hotel with a baby. We finally got Jas off to sleep and so to avoid waking him, Liz and I sat in the bathroom reading and watching a movie on the netbook. SO much for being able to enjoy the executive suite! LOL, thats not quite correct,Lizzie now writes, we did initially stay in the bathroom until he was properly asleep and once he was we then got to watch the movie on our nice comfy king size bed :)
