SP is a huge city, with all the typical things to offer. Bars, clubs, restaurants, art galleries, museums etc. I stayed in a very chic little part of Pinheiros, called Vila Madalena, which has got lots of trendy places to eat and go out. So eat and go out I did, leaving the touristy things, such as Avenida Paulista and Liberdade (the Japanese quarter, which I really liked) to the very last day :] Actually, I did have another semi-touristy day, when three really nice Brazilian girls took us, a few people from the hostel, out for a wander around the area, showing us a few cool places, such as one of the streets, which seems to serve as a graffiti canvass. Overall, I am so amazed by Brazilian people's friendliness and warmth.
The few days in São Paulo were fun, but I left the city without regrets, as I felt I needed to get away from this huge city and explore some wilder areas
