Woke up late but really refreshed. Transferred to the main George guesthouse at 400 php a night. Out to Hanging Coffins again! This time making my way to the coffins for a closer look. Explored the town a little before heading down to Sugong Cave coffins viewpoint and lastly to Lumiang Cave where close to hundreds of 500 year old wooden coffins are stacked up at the entrance to the underground cave. If you peer closely, the skeletons are pretty visible from some of the partly opened coffins. Lumiang Cave is accessible only with a local guide and will lead you to Sumiang Cave on the other end through a network of cave tunnels and rivers. The ideal route would be to start at Sumiang Cave and exit from Lumiang.
Yoghurt & Oatmeal Cookies
Just as I was about to make my way out, a busload of German tourists descended and rain fell
Hanged around a convenience store to play with a pet Huski puppy named Quiapo. Quiapo was chained up and he grunted. All other dogs in Sagada town run free but a top pedigree like Quiapo, was chained up. How ironic. Speaking about dogs, for the last two nights, after midnight, like clockwork, the towns' dogs would convene in packs and make hell alot of noise, raping and pillaging among themselves.
