It was a 8am departure on bus to visit Prenn waterfalls, Datanla waterfalls, a monastery, King Bao Dai's summer palace, an emboidery centre and also a garden called Valley of Love. There was nothing on this itinerary that was of any interest unfortunately and the weather turned hot, which kinda sucked. On this day, I truly felt like a tourist on a bus with a tour guide with a waving flag.

Returned to hotel at 4pm and was checking out my photos on PC when I discovered all my backup on the last 8 days was corrupted by a virus. Sigh...! Fortunately I have 5 days worth of photos stored on my Ipod unaffected by virus in the USB drives. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

Returned to the seafood stall for dinner and also a road side stall for a mixed beef offals noodle soup which was one of the best I had. Walked the market again and crossed the bridge to the south side of town. It was just boring international cafes and hotels one after another. Took a shortcut back to hotel by walking across the empty lake! Obviously I was walking on a trail of raised earth for truck access. Downloaded some freeware to test if I could salvage some photos..so no all is lost. Operation Salvation begins when I return to Melbourne.
