Well gidday folks time for a sneaky update.

we have just finished our time in vienna and now its time to let you know all about it.

got into veinna crazy early in the morning and our plan was to be ready and rearing to go after a mean train sleep. as it happens we slept really bad, the train was delayed by an hour and we got ready to depart an hour prematurely, so being refreshed wasn't happening. we did a quick scout of veinna and bought some breakfast before heading out to the church we would be staying at. I (dan) had emailed some random in austria and he said we could stay at his church so we rocked up to this church hoping for the best. worked out fantastic we had this choice little room aboce the audie and a kitchen across the hall, it was mean. had a shower then decided we had time for a cheeky nana nap before heading out. when we did get out we saw some mean buildings in the middle of the city, bought oursleves some sausage and had a general wander around. on the way home we wanted to hit a super market but fluffed around and realised to late they all closed at 6, bother missed them all. got a super early night and a mean rest to recouperate ourselves.

day 2 veinna, church. was really looking forward to church ay, we've been hanging out for a cheaky bit of fellowship and loved it. the first people we met were a husband and wife where the wife came from auckland!! how random, they invited us round for lunch and we couldn't say no. during the serivce they sang My Jesus My Savior, oh darm, we sang along in english. then during the sermon the husband (Peter) translated for us which was awesome and we got a whole sermon in while in austria. lunch was devine and we had a traditional austrian meal - schnitzel - so good especially with the potatoe salad accompanying. after luch we went out for a wander with them and we caught a tram up this massive hill where you could see all of vienna. grabbed a cheeky wine and cheese and enjoyed the austrian sunset in a beautiful location. we then shot home thinking our day was over but no, on arrival at the church there was a roaring game of risk being played, i couldn't help but watch for a bit. they actually finished pretty quick but then we all got invilved in this church wide game of mafia, awesome. had a ball hanging out with the church youth, all in all really loved the evangalical church we stayed at.

and that was vienna, primo
