We woke up to yet another rainy day and decided that seeing as Bumblebee was all better we would drive to the nearby village of Nimbin. It's a popular backpacker destination and a well known hippy commune. We arrived around lunchtime ready to take everything with a pinch of salt. The village was tiny and there wasn't much going on. We had some lunch and checked out the small row of shops including the museum (which was more of an excuse for the dope dealers to have somewhere to sell out of the rain). The highlight of our trip was the pecan pie that Will ordered at the Rainbow Cafe (the special ingredient was pecans, nothing more!). There wasn't much else to keep us in Nimbin so we headed back to Byron, the sun finally starting to make an appearance through the clouds. Fingers crossed it will stop raining soon!
