Arriving back in Thailand we remembered why it is called the Land of Smiles - even the immigration official at the border was cracking jokes with us and we think the lady that sold us our bus ticket onto Chiang Mai was on something!

Finally made it to an ATM and were amazed at how quick and easy it was - you just type in a few numbers and it gives you money - crazy!  Matthias was paid off with a little interest for his trouble and we waved him off as he hopped on a bus to Chiang Rai.

Had breakfast at a cafe.  Noodle soup (of course) which had some very strange reconsituted pork tasting shapes floating in it.  Took a wander round the local market to buy provisions for another bus journey - a mere 6 hours this time.  After a Cornetto, a coke and some cake, to get over our reconstituted pork ball experience, Will had a major sugar rush on the bus and had to lie down for a while!

Next destination - Chiang Mai for a well deserved few days chill out time, or so we thought.....!

Talking of sugar rushes!!!
Have you guys tried the Redbull out there yet, im dying to know what you think of it. So getting excited about coming over an see you guys, miss you loads. and enjoying your blog.
