6 hour bus ride from Siem Riep to Phnom Penn this morning ($6) - nice air con coach so lots of opportunity for snoozing! Capital is busy and hot - I think we are going to prefer small towns to the big cities. Plus there are more mosquitoes here as it's next to the river - although I don't want to tempt fate or anything but 1 week out of the UK and we only have 3 bites between us? Either Deet is our best friend or the worst is yet to come!
Gonna visit the Grand Palace, National Museum and Genocide Museum tomorrow then head up to the Northern Province on Thursday (another 10 hour bus ride!). Probably won't get to email from there as it's pretty remote but will be coming back to Phnom Penn before heading to Vietnam so will catch up and put on promised photos on our return.
