We made it here in one piece and had a tiring but otherwise ok flight. Stayed in the rather fancy Hotel Dream last night thanks to Charlie and Dan which was fab, and a welcomed introduction to the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. It's really busy here with something going on at every corner.
Debs learnt her first Thai word today - Squirrel (funnily enough!) It's "Kalo" - not sure about the spelling tho!
We are staying right in the middle of the action just off Khao San Road at the moment and will probably check out some of the bars later (if we don't fall asleep again). We are somewhere slightly less extravagant but still have air con and a pool so not all bad! We meant to get up early and explore this morning but ended up sleeping in til midday! Ooops!

Gonna check out our best route to Cambodia tomorrow and then head to the border at Poipet on Friday.
It's going to take some time to get accustomed to the different sights and smells but we are having lots of fun so far!

Aim of the day - eat something that we're not quite sure what it is! Will tell you about it next time!......

Firstly - MISSING YOU LOADS ALREADY! Anna & I cried pretty much all the way back to the car! Of course we are massively happy & insanely jealous of you both, just missing you too! Can't quite get to grips that you are not sat across from me Debs but in a far off country.
