Arriving into the UK after the short night of the Atlantic crossing, we negotiated our way through the immigration queue, the Hertz queue and on via the M25 queue, to Epsom.
We spent the next three days in and around Epsom where Jen's Mum lives. It's been good to catch up and spend time with Anne, and yes of course  - we ate and drank very well here too. Really must think about either a lot more exercise or a bit less of the fine dining....

On a less positive note, Jen lost her footing up some outdoor stairs, and hit the railings, with dire consequences for the laptop.  None of the stock charts look very good now!

Books we have Read in this last while:

A Bend in the Road - Nicholas Sparks
The Silent Lady; Catherine Cookson
The Four Agreements - Don Miguel Ruiz
Stillness Speaks - Echart Tolle
Monday Mourning, but we forget who by....

Coffee we Have Drunk recently:
some of the baristas take huge pride in the piccie.  A few take great pride in their coffee.  We think we do pretty well in NZ in the flavour stakes.
